Before I joined FlavorActiV as a Global Sensory Manager, I gained a Master degree (MBA) in the UK. I have over 13 years of experience as sensory trainer in food and beverage, and have delivered various sensory training courses and sensory projects. In 2017 I started a new role of APAC Regional Director leading APAC sensory team to help our clients in sensory field from quality to R&D department. I also enjoy travelling and like new sensory ideas in training, testing, and new product development, believing food and beverage bring joy to our daily life.

What excites you most about your role at FlavorActiV?

Exploring different foods and beverages, and understanding how flavours are developed in production process.

What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?

People might be surprised that I used to not pay much attention to flavours, but now I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to taste and aroma.

What's a common myth or misconception about sensory science you'd love to bust?

Consumer could not taste. Tasting skills can't be trained.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I’d love the power to turn back time and be 18 again.
