Myth: we taste with only our tongue. Truth: Most flavours come from sense of smell. Try eating something holding your nose then letting go, it will have a very different flavour.
Every day is different. I could be at our office running samples, investigating off notes, co-running sensory panels, doing webinars and customer meetings or on customer sites installing, repairing or training fellow scientists on their new instruments.
