Nicola Zheng
Global Sensory Manager
Prior to joining FlavorActiV, my professional journey was enriched with experience in both the pharmaceutical and food industries, where I held responsibilities in quality management and training. I joined FlavorActiv in 2018, as the Global Sensory Manager for Greater China. I provide professional training and support for my customers, and have a lot of sensory and training experience in soft drinks, water, tea, and dairy. Outside of work, I like baking and cooking. These hobbies not only provide a welcome break from my work routine but also allow me to explore new flavours and techniques, which often find their way back into my professional life, enhancing my ability to understand and appreciate the intricacies of taste and sensory experiences.

What excites me most is the chance to work with such a diverse range of food and beverage companies. It’s a constant learning experience.
What's something people might be excited to know about you?
That I once dreamed of being a dancer—before I ended up in sensory science.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to make delicious food.
