World Distilled Spirits Conference

Global Sensory Manager, Aruna Singh is excited to be attending this year’s World Distilled Spirit Conference in Edinburgh. The international event for the global spirits industry, bringing together academics, distillers, and suppliers to discuss technical innovations, sustainability, and industry trends. The 9th WDSC will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, from May 4–7, 2026, focusing on “Excellence in Science and Innovation – Delivering Tomorrow’s Spirits”.

On the 7th May, Aruna will be presenting a e-Poster, titled, ‘The Use of the Electronic-Nose Augmented with Human Sensory for the Market Evaluation of Whiskey Production‘. The study investigates the success of new technology and how it can be used alongside human sensory to provide greater insight into the development of new whiskey production.
