Leandro Fedele, Global Sensory Manager
Leandro Fedele is a Sensory Specialist with over 10 years in the food and beverage industry, focusing on the field since 2017. Passionate about food and beverage sensory since 2003, he is a Coffee Specialist with multiple Specialty Coffee Association and other certifications and has recently begun wine studies with WSET. He has worked with breweries across the Americas and the EMEA region, supporting sensory panels, freshness, and bitterness projects. Leandro also teaches Beer Sensory in the Postgraduate Beer Sommelier programme at the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Politécnico do Porto.

Katia Jorge, Americas Director
Katia studied Chemical Engineering, earned a Master’s in Biochemistry, and later completed a PhD in Food Science and an MBA in Business Management. As a trained Brewmaster and Beer Sommelier, Katia blends technical brewing expertise with strategic leadership in market development and sales. She’s been involved in beer sensory profiling, exploring beer styles and studying freshness in both craft breweries and larger beer producers. Brewing is one of her passions, and Katia enjoys judging beers at competitions whenever she gets the chance.
Luis Valdez, Global Sensory Manager
Luis is a qualified brewmaster from Mexico with a background in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Brewing and Distilling. He is a Beer Sommelier and a Certified Cicerone®. With more than a decade of experience in sensory evaluation, Luis has developed expertise in beer quality, flavor, and evaluation techniques. His beers and recipes have earned over 50 international awards in global beer competitions around the world. He is also an active international beer judge, bringing his technical knowledge and palate to competitions across multiple countries.
