Since completing a Master of Science degree in Applied Microbiology from the University of Guelph, I have gained over 35 years of hands on experience in international malting and brewing operations, including product and process development. I have always been passionate about beer sensory and had an interest in beer education. Whilst working in operations at SABMiller, Asahi, Molson and CMBTC, I successfully integrated FlavorActiV solutions leading to improved flavour ratings and better control of beer freshness. I am also still playing ice hockey as a goaltender at my advanced age!
