Authentic beer flavour notes, purified to remove extraneous odours and tastes, micro-encapsulated to preserve their integrity. Add them directly to beer to recreate beer styles, beer brands, and a whole host of production and dispense situations, including off-flavours and taints.
As the cornerstone of the brewing industry's beer flavour training efforts for over 10 years, FlavorActiVTM Beer Flavour Standards have grown to be trusted by hundreds of brewing companies throughout the world. They are currently used by more than 1200 breweries in over 170 countries.
Flavours are presented in the form of pre-weighed powder in easy to use capsules. They comply with the recommendations of both the American Society of Brewing Chemists and the European Brewery Convention.
The current system extends to 39 flavours, with more being introduced in 2010. We have recently added Bromophenol, Ethyl butyrate, Indole, Leathery and Plastics.
