FlavorActiV’s Supply Management
Our Supply Team is the backbone of FlavorActiV’s services, ensuring the supply of products and service support to our customers. Our Supply Team helps Global Sensory Managers deliver technical taster training and management to our customers and runs the operations from our facilities in the United Kingdom.
Dale Smith – Supply Manager
Responsible for FlavorActiV’s supply, managing marketing functions, overseeing new product development in software and GMP Flavour Standards and the management of existing products.
Originally a Forensic Scientist working for the UK’s Forensic Science Service in the fields of Forensic Chemistry for operational work from the UK Police Service and then Fingerprint detection and identification for the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) from 2002 to 2007.
Dale has extensive experience in GC-MS, HPLC, N-MR, FT-IR, MALDI-TOF2 and DART systems, as well being a Fingerprint Development Expert. Dale also helped developed a range of advanced nanotechnology based fingerprint powders and liquid suspensions that encapsulated various molecular agents and targeted bio-sensory markers.
Dale worked with the Singapore Government and Police Force in 2009 on a joint project testing the viability of the technology he helped to create.
Dale has a B.Sc (Hons) in Forensic Science and Psychology and has provided guidance to the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) on advanced fingerprint development and recovery technology.
Due to his experience in product development, fingerprint sensory work, nanotechnology encapsulation and chemistry background, Dale is expertly placed to oversee new product development and research within FlavorActiV.
